Plan Description

"Bonsai" is a form of Japanese traditional culture that has admirers throughout the world. Among this, the bonsai class that can be experienced in Tokyo's "Shunkaen" is an experience plan where you can directly receive a lesson from Kunio Kobayashi, a bonsai grower that represents Japan. *Direct lesson from Kunio Kobayashi Sensei only on Sundays.

As Kunio Kobayashi Sensei has had experience in receiving many bonsai-related awards, it will be possible to receive a lecture of a rather high level.

At Shunkaen, you can learn about bonsai culture and how to grow bonsai directly from Kunio Kobayashi Sensei or Shunkaen's bonsai professionals. As guidance on bonsai will be carried out aligned with each individual's level, there are of course basic bonsai lessons for beginners, and those who have experience in growing bonsai in the past can also choose to receive guidance suited to them.
As the bonsai for the class and the tools will be prepared, you can take part without bringing anything. If it is not busy, you can take part without making reservations! The completed bonsai can be taken home for an additional fee (2,000 yen: paid on site.)
