Plan Description
Introduction to Kengido, Sword Fight Scene Workshop
The combination of martial arts (swordsmanship) and performing arts (kabuki arts).
Why not experience the "Japanese Sword Workshop," where you can experience the spirit and culture of Japan? You will certainly have a great time, thinking that "I've worn kimono before, but it's my first time wearing a 'hakama,'" and "It was a lot of fun being able to have a samurai experience!"
In this plan, you can experience an actual sword fight scene, the same as the ones seen in plays and films. A sword fight scene is where imitation swords are actually used to act out the scene of a fight. The members of Kengishu Kamui are sword fight scene professionals, so you can see and learn impactful sword fight scenes. It is also recommended for those who want to actually learn the techniques and performing methods of sword fight scenes as performers, for professionals who actually perform on stage and for those who dream of going on stage in the future.
Contents of Available Experiences
・Dressing in samurai clothing
・Learning about the philosophies and rules of the bushido spirit
・Lesson on fighting in kengi
・Taking photographs Kengido,
which is an original method, has a clear theme of "communication," and Tetsuro Shimaguchi presiding over the experience will give clear, thorough guidance from the beginning on techniques and frame of mind.
And for new members of Kengido, there are chances to take part in Kengishu Kamui's stage performances or tours, which are spreading their area of activity overseas as well and not just in Japan, showing your techniques and performances to audiences in various countries. In terms of participating or becoming a member, nationality and of course, age, gender and whether you are a novice or experienced does not matter at all. We await your participation at the Kengishu Kamui dojo!
