On this tour, you can visit two famous Wine Cellars which are named "ISHIGAWA WINE CELLAR" and "TAMURA WINE CELLAR", located at the west side of Tokyo.These two wine cellars are recognized as registered tangible cultural assets of the country.

Plan Description

Ishikawa Sake Brewing Trip

Ishikawa Sake Brewery is a brewery with much history where sake has been being brewed since 1863. Beer is also brewed at Ishikawa Sake Brewery, a rarity for a sake brewery. With a museum full of sake brewing history from the Edo, Meiji, and Showa periods, you can of course discover how sake is made, as well as taste flavors that cannot be tasted at a normal sake brewery. You can also enjoy the history among many buildings that are recognized as national registered tangible cultural properties.

SAKE CELLAR

It is a shop selling Ishikawa brewed sake · beer directly. We deal with valuable items such as site limitation and seasonal limitation unique to Kuramoto.

HONGURA(built in 1880)

Country registered tangible cultural property. The "Honorable Bragm" is brewed in this storehouse, which was built in 1823. It has a scale of about 25 m × 28 m and a height of about 13 m. Tile of 300 tsubo is spread. It is an important building to watch over the development of Ishikawa Brewery.

KAMAGAWA BUNSUI

It was drawn as domestic water from Tamagawa Kamimizu from 1886 to 1888. People from Kumagawa village centering on the Ishikawa family were involved in this construction.

You may enjoy the restaurant inside the Ishikawa Sake Brewery

Japanese Food and Soba: at ""Zogura"", the same quality natural water that is used for sake brewing is used for all the food preparation. As this restaurant is inside the brewery, it features quality seasonal tempura and soba that go well with sake. This restaurant also has an old-fashioned ambience where more than 110 years of history can be felt.

NATURAL MINERAL WATER

"Water" is the most important position in determining the spicy sweetness of sake and the quality of sake. In this collection, 150 meters underground Kazusa Group which pumps up from the basement · Underground natural water pumped from the lower layer of the Higashikurume Formation (medium hard water )using.

FUSSA NO BIRUGOYA(Resturant)

Italian restaurant which you can drink a freshly made beer "Tama no Megumi" "TOKYO BLUES" carried from Tamagura beer workshop. Pizza made from cloth and baked with locally produced sausage, dishes using seasonal ingredients appeal.

Tamura Sake Brewing Trip

Tamura Sake Brewery has been doing brewing since the literary 5 years(1808) at the bank of the Tama River, a place of the Fussa that wants the mountain masses leading to the west. Theydo not chase the quantity, carefully make liquor carefully without wasting time and effort to keep selling politely in the eye-catching range. The aim of Tamura Sake Brewry is to deliver high-quality liquor with affordable prices as much as their aim for "Tamura Sake Plant-like liquor" plus the essence of Tamura Sake Brewery.Politely made, politely sold" is the family motto of Tamura family.
