Plan Description

Ishikawa Sake Brewing Trip

Ishikawa Sake Brewery is a brewery with much history where sake has been being brewed since 1863. Beer is also brewed at Ishikawa Sake Brewery, a rarity for a sake brewery. With a museum full of sake brewing history from the Edo, Meiji, and Showa periods, you can of course discover how sake is made, as well as taste flavors that cannot be tasted at a normal sake brewery. You can also enjoy the history among many buildings that are recognized as national registered tangible cultural properties.

Tamura Sake Brewing Trip

At the Tamura brewery, built in 1808, they put in the time and effort rather than go for quantity, and politely sell their sake in a way that catches the eye. "Politely made, politely sold" is the family motto.

You may enjoy the restaurant inside the Ishikawa Sake Brewery

Japanese Food and Soba: at ""Zogura"", the same quality natural water that is used for sake brewing is used for all the food preparation. As this restaurant is inside the brewery, it features quality seasonal tempura and soba that go well with sake. This restaurant also has an old-fashioned ambience where more than 110 years of history can be felt.
