Experience Slow food / Koisuru-buta Laboratory

"KOISURU-BUTA LABORATORY"Koisuru-buta is a pig that received a lot of attention in regards to what food was given to it, and how it was raised. We use LWD pigs, which are crossbred pigs from 3 pig breeds. They are a common breed, but we don’t focus on what breed the pig is, but rather how the pig was raised, since the environment is the key to raising a tasty pig.

Plan Description

 (KOISURU-BUTA LABORATORY) What is KOISURU-BUTA

KOISURU-BUTA LABORATORY workshop

The vegetables, fishes, pigs, birds – everything in the supermarkets – were all living beings.

They were all processed and arranged on the store shelves.

We, as food producers, are serious about bringing our production conditions closer to what exists in nature, in order provide safe and delicious foods.

We also hope this attitude about being mindful of nature also reaches our customers. About being caring and being cared for.

What is Koisuru-buta?

Koisuru-buta is a pig that received a lot of attention in regards to what food was given to it, and how it was raised.

We use LWD pigs, which are crossbred pigs from 3 pig breeds. They are a common breed, but we don’t focus on what breed the pig is, but rather how the pig was raised, since the environment is the key to raising a tasty pig.

Thus, all our pigs come from only one farm, and we have no intentions of using other farms or suppliers.

The pigs are raised, processed, and delivered to our customers. Since we only use a few farmers, meat processors, and distributors, we are able to maintain a close relationship with our entire production line, and thus guarantee safety, as well as manage our production and processing information to provide a safe and reliable product to our customers.

What we, at Koisuru-buta, wish to convey

The vegetables, fishes, pigs, birds – everything in the supermarkets – were all living beings.

They were all processed and arranged on the store shelves.

We, as food producers, are serious about bringing our production conditions closer to what exists in nature, in order provide safe and delicious foods.

We also hope this attitude about being mindful of nature also reaches our customers. About being caring and being cared for.
