Plan Description

Let's enjoy the experience of watching and listenting to traditional Japanese culture. We have prepared a variety of different activities for people with a strong interest in Japan's traditional culture, and who have not been satisfied with the kinds of tourist-oriented programs available up to now.
We offer a place where visitors to Japan can get close to actors and the theater, and even dress up in costumes and experience what it is like to stand on the stage.

With this, we would like to make it more fun to go to the theater, and to make the atmosphere of that ceremonial space even more enriching than it was in the time of Edo.
We would like to make a place where it is possible to enjoy a fully authentic experience of real "wa," the essence of Japan, and to display the healing world of "wa" to others.
We want to contribute to the preservation of Japan's traditional culture by offering a place where people can learn about "wa," by having an easy experience of the various performing arts associated with it.

Also, by offering the literally "extra-ordinary" experience of wearing a kimono and walking out onto the ceremonial space of the stage, we hope to make a contribution to the enrichment of Japanese culture.

By offering a rich and leisurely time to our patrons, we hope to make it a bit easier for them to greet tomorrow with energy and vigor. In addition, we also hope that providing this opportunity to encounter traditional Japanese performing arts will help increase their overall popularity, and lead to an increase in their vitality.
By passing a pleasant time with us, our patrons will begin to feel refreshed and vibrant. This emotion will hopefully becoming the driving force for a series of new activities, based on a desire to get more acquainted with traditional performing arts, or a desire to watch such traditional performances again.

"Kumadori" is one of the distinguishing features of Kabuki theater.

In this class, we will introduce the "Kumadori" style makeup from Kabuki theater. The teacher is a Kabuki actor who comes from an actor training school. You will be able to see Kumadori up close, at a distance that you would be able to touch if you extended your hand. After learning about the history and background of Kumadori, we will present a Kumadori performance, as well as an opportunity for you to try performing yourself. This class should be enjoyable to all, from Kabuki novices to Kabuki experts.
