Yamanashi Peach Blossom Festival

The Kyoutou Region is renowned nationwide for its peaches. Grand peach fields spread across the entirety of Yamanashi City. The open fields, close to sea level, appear to have been covered in pink carpet once the peach blossoms begin to bloom. In an average year, they begin to bloom in April and slowly spread to higher elevated areas. There are many areas to enjoy the magnificent view of the peach fields, including the neighborhoods of Mt. Ishimori and Fuefukigawa Fruit Park which are popular flower viewing spots due to their elevations.

The best time to view is early to mid-April.

Our farmers have been cultivating strawberries for over 30 years, with our strawberry picking farms having been open for roughly 10 years. Currently, we are the largest strawberry picking farm in the prefecture and we frequently have people visit from out of prefecture to pick our strawberries. Each farmer has their own unique cultivation techniques. The farms are easy to access, just 5 minutes from the Chuo Expressway or Minami-Kofu IC. We are also near Yumura Onsen Village, making for a relaxing excursion whether it be Spring or Winter.
